Thank you for allowing me to introduce you to SHUTTLE SOLUTIONS, LLC, your resource for off-site employee parking and shuttle. Shuttle Solutions, in partnership with American Explorer Motorcoach, is committed to helping McCarthy solve the problem of overcrowded job site parking. As you know, locating off-site parking lots for your employees and subcontractors can be challenging, and that’s where we can help. In fact, not only will we locate and acquire the off-site parking lot, we will hire a security company, maintain and clean the lot, and then, of course, provide a safe and comfortable shuttle for your employees. We are your TURNKEY answer to off-site parking and shuttle needs.

Here is a snapshot of the most common services we provide:

  • Pre-construction bid consultation.
  • Pre-construction parking and shuttle parameters and planning session.
  • Search and acquisition of off-site employee parking lot(s) and secondary “back-up” lot(s).
  • Security and maintenance of off-site employee parking lot.
  • Purchase of equipment and supplies necessary to maintain employee parking lot.
  • Employee shuttle: Transportation of employees from off-site parking lot to the job site.

The following is a proposal submitted to Doug Kreschollek of McCarthy Construction. Doug is the project manager of the Banner Thunderbird Hospital expansion project here in Arizona


SAMPLE Proposal:


American Explorer Motorcoach will provide the following services:
1. Search and Acquisition of off-site Employee Parking Lot within 10 mile radius of Banner Thunderbird Hospital.
  a. American Explorer will bind a 12 month contract with... This location is approximately 1 mile from the hospital. This parking lot will accommodate 253 cars.
  b. American Explorer will bind a secondary 12 month, “retainer” contract with... This parking lot will be used in the event we are forced to move from the Glendale Nazarene location for any unforeseeable reason. This location will park 200 cars.

2. Security and Maintenance of Employee Parking Lot
  a. American Explorer will negotiate and bind a 12 month contract with a licensed and insured Security Guard Company to assist in providing daily security of employee parking lot.
  b. American Explorer will rent or purchase golf cart to facilitate in the security and maintenance of employee parking lot.
  c. American Explorer will provide daily lot cleaning service inclusive of waste disposal.
  d. American Explorer will provide regular lot maintenance including sweeping and pressure washing, as needed.
  e. American Explorer will provide restroom accommodations at parking lot.
  f. American Explorer will communicate parking needs and concerns to McCarthy construction personnel through memos. We will also interface with church to keep contract in good standing and to extend contract month-by-month upon completion of 12 month contract – if needed.

3. Equipment and Supplies necessary to Employee Parking Lot:
  a. American Explorer will supply moveable 39-55 gallon garbage cans and liners.
  b. American Explorer will supply parking cones.
  c. American Explorer will supply 6, two-way radios (2 for McCarthy, 1 for each driver (2), 1 for the security guard and one spare).
  d. American Explorer will supply all the necessary cleaning equipment and supplies to clean-up fluid spills. This includes diatomaceous earth, rubber gloves, etc…
  e. American Explorer will supply all the necessary, moveable signage, as needed, to direct traffic and/or disseminate information to McCarthy construction personnel.

4. Employee Motor Coach Shuttle service to Banner Thunderbird from off-site parking lot:
  a. American Explorer will provide week day shuttle service for a period of 12 months.
  b. This service will consist of 2, 49 passenger motorcoaches providing 2, 4-hour shuttles daily (Monday-Friday). The approximate times for this shuttle will be 6am-10am and then again from 2pm-6pm. These motor coaches will be equipped with cellular telephones, two-way radios, good a/c, public address systems, and restrooms.
  c. American Explorer requires one week notice before commencing shuttle.
  d. Upon commencing employee shuttle, the service will be provided for one year without interruption.
  e. Upon completion of one year shuttle service, American Explorer will continue to provide shuttle service on a month-to-month basis according to the agreed upon conditions of this proposal.
